No saved credit card numbers
The InternetSecure transaction system passes the credit card information through its system, but does not retain any credit card numbers. Completed transaction information (without card numbers) is stored in a SQL database behind a highly secure firewall. An offline and offsite accounting server at InternetSecure retains transaction records for reconciliation purposes in the same manor as most chartered banks. This provides zero targets for potential hackers. The nature of the InternetSecure system means that once InternetSecure receives all required information, the transaction is processed with the banks over private digital lines, not back out over the Internet.
